Offline Primitive Sequence; this is used during link initialization between two N_Ports in a point-to-point topology or an F_Port and an N_Port in a Fabric. It is sent to indicate that the transmitting port is attempting to initialize a link, has recognized the NOS primitive sequence, or is going offline. The expected response to an OLS is an LR.
